Weir
Usage Ledger

Every charge and refund, on the record

Every rental charge and refund is written to an append-only ledger on your account. Your account page shows your balance, the last 7 days’ spend and every transaction.

One ledger for your balance. Nothing rewritten after the fact.

Append-only

Entries are added to the ledger, never edited or removed. Your history stays as it happened.

Charged once

Each entry has a unique key, so the same charge or refund can never be applied twice.

Refunds on the record

When you release early, the unused whole hours come back as their own ledger entry.

On your account page.

Balance

What you have left to spend on rentals.

Last 7 days

How much you have spent over the past week.

Every transaction

Each charge and refund on your account.

Questions, answered.

Can a ledger entry be changed?

No. The ledger is append-only: entries are added, never edited or deleted.

Could I be charged twice for one rental?

No. Every charge and refund carries a unique key, so the same entry can’t be applied twice.

When is a rental charged?

Up front, when you pay for the hours you booked. Unused whole hours are refunded when you release early.

Where do I see my transactions?

On your account page, along with your balance and the last 7 days’ spend.
